I made this image on a trip with the superbly talented young landscape photographer Marc Adamus. After we had finished shooting for the morning Marc commented to me that this was the best sunrise he had ever seen in Oregon. We both made all sorts of interesting compositions on that morning. This is the one I prefer most.
