Digital photography has been, for me, a sort of rebirth. There is no way this image would have been possible just 4 years ago. I used a super-wide 17 mm TSE lens turned vertical to give an effective focal length of nearly 10 mm. I then took 8 shots from left to right and stitched them together. The result is a wide-angle that was not even close to possible in the chemistry era.
