Normally, images of Maligne Lake feature the grandeur of the mountains that surround the lake. On this morning the fog was so thick that the mountains were only barely in view. I made this image at around 8:30 am in early September at the narrowest part of the lake. The quiet, solitude and calm of this morning had to be experienced to be believed.
